A robotic window cleaner is a machine that automates the cleaning of large glass façades. Unlike older models that rely on suction cups, the AX1 hangs from a counterweight gondola system — offering far greater stability and performance. This modern approach eliminates the limitations of suction-based designs and ensures consistent cleaning results across any height.
The AX1 operates via a suspended gondola system, moving vertically and horizontally using precision-controlled winches and cables. A trained operator on the ground controls all movement and cleaning actions in real time — ensuring accuracy, safety, and adaptability on every building. The AX1 does not use mapping or autonomous navigation; it’s entirely operator-controlled for total precision.
Extremely safe. The AX1 is supported by two primary cables that control movement, plus two independent safety wires as fail-safes. These redundant systems ensure complete stability and compliance with the strictest high-rise safety standards. Operators remain safely on the ground throughout the process.
